Monolink Project (aka Monolink) is a dissociative electronic music project based in Volgograd. It was founded in 2010 by two people with widely dissonating views on music and seemingly incompatible approaches to its creation. Instead of tearing the project apart, their creative differences gave birth to a dualistic and diverse sound. In 2016 one of the members left monolink project, leaving Dmitriy Kochetcov as its sole member.

Sophie: Music for the Performance is the original soundtrack for the eponymous performance by the Scandal Pro physical theatre troupe that combines several pieces created by Monolink independently over the course of two years. Monolink’s music turned out to be a natural addition to Scandal Pro’s performance, reinforcing its concept and underscoring its themes. The OST opens with a version of The Wrong Parallels that resulted from significant revisions made to it over the past one and a half years, and features Evolving, a track that was originally created for a side project that was lost two years ago. Scandal Pro performed Sophie in the Moscow-based Hideout studio (now closed) on October 1, 2016.

Monolink Project (aka Monolink) — диссоциативный проект электронной музыки, образованный в 2010 году в Волгограде двумя молодыми людьми, чьи творческие позиции диссонируют друг с другом. В связи с отсутствием общности взглядов и возникшего творческого конфликта, проект приобрел двойственность — не распался на сольные, независимые друг от друга формации, а получил свое внутреннее многогранное звучание. С 2016 года Monolink Project окончательно приобрёл статус one-man проекта, единственным участником которого является Дмитрий Кочетков.

Sophie: Music for the Performance — оригинальный саундтрек для перформанса физического театра Scandal Pro. Здесь переплетаются работы Monolink Project, созданные на протяжении двух лет, которые нашли свое место и идейно подчеркнули концепт перформанса. Вступление The Wrong Parallels претерпело за полтора года четыре качественных изменения, а трек Evolving — музыка к потерянному два года назад стороннему проекту. Перформанс состоялся в Москве 1 октября 2016 года, в ныне закрытой студии Hideout.
