Catapillow produces soft biogenic ambient/drone built of heavily processed field recordings and vocals. Simple household noises and squeaks, voices of bipedal, quadrupedal and pinniped animals coalesce and transform into open sonic ecosystems. Sounds blend, mask each other and form symbiotic relationships. Dark ominous drones emerge from primordial soup of noises only to be forgotten as a nightmare after a simple act of turning over the pillow: most of the music is written between two and four AM, when the city immerses into sweet somnolence.

Catapillow (Кошканаподушке) – молодой музыкальный коллектив, исполняющий нежный биогенный эмбиент и дрон с уклоном в сторону field recording и vocal ambient. Простые бытовые шорохи, скрипы и треск кухонной утвари, стекла, голосá двуногих, четвероногих и ластоногих животных преображаются в открытые звуковые экосистемы, в которых одни звуки выдают себя за другие, вытесняют и маскируют друг друга или приходят к симбиозу. Порой на горизонте вырастают циклопические угрожающие дроны, но быстро развеиваются, как ночной кошмар, переворачиванием подушки на другую, прохладную сторону. Большая часть музыки проекта сочиняется в период между тремя и шестью утра, когда город погружаются в мягкую дрёму.
